Power Performance Tracker©
- We monitor the status of your solar + battery system and your house consumption on a daily basis with a weekly engineering review including reporting of any anomalies or unexpected issues.
- Tracking can be done “on top of” your existing software and hardware, or it can be done with the installation of some simple hardware (a ModBESS gateway).
- The tracking system relies on text messages or emails to up to three different phones or email addresses. These can include your own phone and email, the phone and email of your property manager, or the phone and email of your solar/battery installer.

- There is a fixed monthly fee for performance tracker. (If we need to install additional equipment on your system, there will also be a one-time initial setup charge.) Contact us for a quote.
While we recognize that you probably have this capability in the form of an “app” from the provider of your battery, inverter or solar system, this monitoring requires that you actively and regularly monitor your system. The ModBESS performance tracking system removes this burden by keeping an extra set of eyes on your system.
Failure to detect a problem can be very costly, it may cost you hundreds or thousands of dollars in extra utility charges – and in the worst-case scenario, in the complete failure of your backup system that was intended to protect you against a power outage.
Advanced Power Performance Tracker©
Our advanced performance tracking option includes all the features of the basic performance tracker on a daily basis, but in addition we do a pattern analysis of your loads and attempts to give you information about specific failures. We will give you recommendations to save power whenever we analyze an opportunity. The setup cost of the advanced monitoring system is necessarily higher and will depend on the complexity of the setup.
Automated Control Services (HomeOptimizer©)
This is our premium product. It includes all the services listed above, but in addition it also performs the recommended actions by means of either communicating directly with your inverter + battery and adjusting the settings, or communicating with a “load panel” or some other form of load management device in your house. This type of system is ideal for someone that spends significant time away from their property, and where the probability of extended power outages is relatively large.
